Denton is a hidden gem located a little north of Dallas! It is home to plenty of art, music, and all around good people! Come enjoy yourselves in our little town, but warning… you may not want to leave! Here is a list of the Best spots in Denton, TX aka lil’ d to grab yourself a craft beer! There is free parking available and majority of things are walking distance. Remember to bring your pup because all patios are dog friendly!
The Bearded Monk
A perfectly located bottle shop and growler fill bar right of the square. Grab a 6-pack or a growler while you are trotting around town or waiting for your food from the food trucks at Austin St food truck spot.
Stout Fact- choose from some fun tabletop games like Rock‘em Sock’em or tiny pool! Located in the Beermuda Triangle

Denton County Brewing Company
A brewery/craft house! This brewpub is known for its chill atmosphere and positive experience! As soon as you walk in you will know this is the spot to share a beer with friends and family (including kiddos).
Stout Fact – Ask the bartender to play the game! And they will find you a beer of your liking. Located in the Beermuda Triangle
East Side
Beer is the main focus of this 90+ tap beer bar. Two screens full of the choices on tap! This bar has games from darts, foosball inside and cornhole out on their massive patio. Patio includes a satellite bar full of fun craft beer.
Stout Fact: This bar is what houses the Austin Street Truck Stop as well as the one and only The Bearded Lady Barber Shop! You can get a trim while drinking a beer! Located in the Beermuda Triangle
Oak Street Draft House
Oak Street Draft House – Enter through a wrap around porch and travel through one of the oldest houses in Denton to grab you beer from over 70 of their rotating taps. Enter into a place you can call home and follow your path to their huge back yard that is filled with tons of seating and cement ping-pong tables.

Harvest House
One of the prettiest back yards in Denton. Head on in grab a beer from their 48 taps and walk outside to a green oasis. A place for beer, music, and nature! If you are a Cocktail kind of person they serve up some of the best in town.
Stout Fact: On top of being a bar they also provide freshly squeezed juice made in house that they have infused in some of their cocktails! Dogs are welcome inside!
Free Play
Exactly what it sounds like. Upon entering its feels like you are going through a time machine as you are greeted with sounds of retro arcade games and sweet music. Enjoy one of their 50 plus beers on tap and pay a 5 $ fee to explore all the games with unlimited play time.

Barley & Board
A gastropub that is located right on Denton’s square! A spot to grab a wonderful beer and some great food! The best of both worlds all in one spot! The ambiance of this spot is industrial with a woodsman touch. Another great spot for you cocktail lovers!
Sout Fact: They house the Home Brewer’s League. Home brewer’s can get the chance to brew in house and will be put on tap!
Lucky Lou’s
The OG of Denton’s craft bar. For every alumni, there is a nostalgic feeling when you walk into this dive bar! If you haven’t been yet it is full hardwood and a collection of tap handles and bicycles on the ceiling. He was the first to really started carrying craft beers from Le Fin du Monde to Arrogant Bastard. Now he is proud to house local craft beer and some across the nation.
Stout Fact: Get your picture put up on Lou’s 25 Travelers by bringing in a framed picture of you wearing Lou’s gear by a landmark worthy of their traveler’s wall!
