Stirring up a Mexican Mule with Barritt’s Ginger Beer

Barritt’s Ginger Beer tasted amazing all by itself, it can cure an upset tummy or just make you happy! Why stop there? Let’s mix it up… and of course you won’t get the same ole thing with The Beerded Lady! I love beer its true, but second is tequila, and third bourbon. I landed on the Mexican Mule! A perfectly tantalizing drink. I gladly proclaim that I am spoiled by craft cocktails. The spirit is a very important part of your cocktail… but I think the mixer should be of, if not more, importance. Barritt’s Ginger Beer is perfect for your cocktail needs. There are so many options. I picked the Mexican Mule

Mexican Mule

  • Step 1: Copper Cup and Ice
  • Step 2: 2 oz of Repesado Tequila (I poured a little more)
  • Step 3: A good amount of fresh lime juice. Because who can go wrong with lime juice?
  • Step 4: 4 oz Barrits Ginger Beer
  • Step 5: Garnish: Lime, Jalapeño for a kick, and mint
  • Step 6: Enjoy

Barritt’s blends perfectly with repesado. It brings a bright and effevescent character that compliments the tequila creating a dance of ginger and oak in your mouth. Barritt’s is perfect for the summer time whether you use it as a mixer or just need a gingery pick me up during your day. I plan on making this Mexican Mule again… it will be flawless for our next cook out. Grab you a few cans or ask for it the bar next time you want a mule. Oh, and did I mention that they’ve been doing this since 1874… I think they know a thing or two! Find More Recipes HERE
